i'm all lurky lurkerson at mayo's (couldn't comment if i wanted to -- weep for being on dial-up) so when i read that you had put up your piccy i scurried over to take a peek!
i think the blog problem for those of us with dial-up is just that the page gets too heavy to load, and maybe blogger's servers are slow this time of year too. it only happened just a week or so ago. *sigh*
thanks too for your comment on my entry -- i found that i was telling so many people about janus that i went out to see what the internet had on the dude! lol
i can still hang out on all the "porches", so i'll see you there for sure!
yeah, that's what it means pretty much, although i think some of us, like mustard, can't even load the page to read the comments! i just can't get a comment box to come up, but i can hang out and lurk. and then i wander around and comment everywhere else!

i won't be doing anything special for new year's eve, but new year's day a band i really like is doing a free record drop performance up in the city -- i'm definitely going to start the year off right! :D
so i was just sitting watching tv when i herd a voice in my head. it was the voice of Burnely rocks my socks, and that voice said
shame in me will not allow anonymous posters and because you are a innocent mancy bird could you do and tell her something for me. so me being innocent and all said ok then burnley rocks my socks so here it is
burnley rocks my socks said...... wow you hot stuff. something sizzlin tonight and it aint chicken. you would have all the scallies after you. maybe you get on the bus with me into town and drink vodka and race shopping trollies down big steep hills. then we can go to the bushe and throw up just like the scally 5000 would like. I am still waiting for my scally 5000 so i think you need to ring fed ex and tell him to get a move on. usa needs a scally in its mist. burnley rocks my socks off
